Belladonna (Took) Baggins – Bilbo’s mother, wife of Bungo Baggins. Daughter of Gerontius “Old Took” Took, whose relatives were scandalously known for partaking in adventures.
Dora Baggins – Drogo‘s sister, and therefore, Frodo’s aunt, she was the oldest surviving female relative of Bilbo of Frodo. She was 99 at the time of Bilbo’s party and died when she was 104. Dora had written realms of good advice for more than half a century.
Primula (Brandybuck) Baggins – Frodo’s mother, married to Drogo Baggins, died in a boating accident with Drogo.
Rosamunda (Took) Bolger – grand-daughter of Hildibrand Took (one of Gerontius’s sons), she married Odovacar Bolger and was the mother of Fredegar “Fatty” Bolger.
Esmeralda (Took) Brandybuck – Merry’s mother, married to Saradoc Brandybuck, she was also the sister of Paladin Took so therefore Pippin’s aunt.
Estella (Bolger) Brandybuck – sister of Fatty Bolger, she married Merry Brandybuck.
Melilot Brandybuck – a guest at Bilbo’s party who started to dance on top of a table with Everard Took.
Mirabella (Took) Brandybuck – sister of Belladonna (Bilbo’s mother). She married Gorbadoc Brandybuck and was the mother of Primula (Frodo’s mother).
Bell (Goodchild) Gamgee – the mother of Samwise, married to Hamfast “Gaffer” Gamgee. She had six children: Hamson, Halfred, Daisy, May, Samwise, and Marigold (who married Rosie’s brother Tom).

Lobelia (Bracegirdle) Sackville-Baggins – Bilbo’s annoying cousin who wanted his possessions and Bag End. She was married to Otho and had a son named Lotho. At first, Frodo thought her annoying and a nuisance, but when the ruffians invaded the Shire, Lobelia stood up to them. She was arrested by the ruffians but later released after the scouring of the Shire. She was saddened by the murder of her son Lotho, and decided not to return to Bag End so she gave it back to Frodo. In the spring she died, she was over a hundred years old, and she left her and Lotho’s money to Frodo to help hobbits made homeless after the troubles.
Diamond “of Long Cleeve” Took – married Pippin Took, has a son named Faramir after Faramir Prince of Ithilien.
Eglantine (Banks) Took – Pippin’s mother, wife of Paladin Took. She also had three daughters: Pearl, Pimpernel, and Pervinca.
